Well, 2014 has quickly come and gone. Tomorrow we will officially be living in the future...according to Back to the Future. While I was putting together this year in review, it made me realize that this year was a really good one. I enjoyed looking back and seeing what all I experienced, what I was feeling, and what all I came through. That is one of the reasons I love blogging and journaling in general, it allows me to remember where I was and see how God was faithful in every step. And that is one truth I know I can take into the year 2015. My God is faithful.
So, thank you 2014 for all the experiences and memories you brought, it was a good year. Here's to hoping 2015 is just as good, possibly better.
My word and challenge for the new year was "wait." I started running and the journey to #Fit2014. There was a snowpocalypse. I was still living at home and decided to make it feel more like home by giving my room a makeover.
I talked about ways I could love others. Expressed my love for Jimmy Fallon. And talked about "Happily Ever After."
Celebrated Lent by reading the Gospels and praying for the nations. Got nominated for a Liebster Award. And talked more about my journey of waiting and feeling forgotten.
I celebrated the anniversary of my family becoming a family. I had the wonderful opportunity to co-host The Circle with Kiki. I remembered the Tuscaloosa Tornado and marveled at being worthy of God's grace.
I cut my hair, because summertime happened and took a mini vacation to Pensacola Beach. I gave a little behind the scenes look of Polished Arrow and transformed some of my favorite photos from color to black and white. I also talked about my love for the outdoors and reminisced about some of my travels.
Polished Arrow turned ONE! I talked about needing community and created a fake and fun resume after feeling defeated while job searching. Did a fun little Q&A. And stood beside my best friend as she got married.
I celebrated one of my favorite holidays. I leaned on my Rock and Redeemer and talked about living life in a small town.
I shared more of my testimony. Then, took the rest of the month off from blogging.
Shared a little bit of my apartment in the city with you guys. And thought about how fast life changes.
I started sponsoring a teenager with Compassion. Anticipated the Christmas season and reflected on the birth of Christ, my Savior. And I turned 26.
Happy New Year!
Thank you for following along with me in 2014.
Hope you will join me for 2015.
